Big Bucks to Get Fast Cashby Jessica WheelerThe next time you get cash out of the ATM you might want to make sure it's owned by your bank. That's because if you don't have an account with the ATM you use, you could be hit twice: once by that bank ATM you're using and then by your own bank. ATM fees are soaring to an average of $2.91 a transaction. And credit advisors say this could get you in some big trouble. Jeff Telling, of Family Credit Counseling says "We feel the best way to tell people how to handle this situation is to become educated. And then when they have emergencies situations they are well prepared and have cash on hand." Analysts say making just two withdrawals a week from another bank's ATM could cost you more than 300-dollars a year. Article Reprinted Courtesy of HOI News |
